Ive never done a drawing quite like this one. Its definitely a challenge having to draw the stages of the unwrapping. With all the wrinkles and clashing values it was really difficult to do. Doing the letters and contours in the chocolate bar that I chose, seemed like more of a challenge than just a hershey kiss.
I have mixed feelings about my final product regarding the values of the wrapping. I wasnt sure about how dark and how much to shade on certain parts. Another issue I faced was getting the actual bar to look right, all the lines and letters made it difficult to get the right look. I do though, feel like I did pretty good for it being my first time. It looks ,for the most part, pretty realistic in the pictures posted.
This was a project I didn't like as much as the others because it was so tedious to do and took many trys on certain parts. It also took a really long time for me because i was constantly having to take pictures of each stage. I couldnt see the values really well with the picture either. It definitley strengthend some of my skills with shading and proportioning though, so im glad we did this project.
